For each game, there are several types of tournaments that can be established.

A tournament is made up of one or more matches.

A tournament can only be associated with one single game.

Based on the level of accessibility:

Hoster has the autonomy to establish tournament rules, recruit participants, and determine the commission they extract from player ticket purchases.

Standard Tournaments

These are the β€œstandard” type of tournament, pitting two players directly against each other in a winner-take-all competition. Most MiniTon games implement this kind of tournament, and they’re the best kind when still in the process of building up your player population.

Multiple Player Tournaments

In Multiple Player tournaments, you can have 3-10 players compete for the best score in the game. As in Head to Head, a lone winner takes all of the proceeds. These tournaments are best suited for games with large player populations, as more players are needed to fill in these games.

Bracket Tournaments

In bracket tournaments, a group of players will compete in a series of rounds. The player who loses each round is eliminated, and the winner proceeds to compete against other winners. This process continues until only one player remains as the final winner. These types of tournaments are best suited for games that have a large player population since more players are needed to fill these games.
